Sea Star Diving Booking Terms & Conditions:
All bookings made through the agent or website are subject to these terms and conditions. Please ensure you read them carefully before making a booking.
Diving insurance is not included in the booking. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure they have the correct insurance coverage for their diver certification level, as well as trip cancellation and general holiday firstname.lastname@example.org prior to making your booking.
Guests must provide a copy of their most recent certification card and dive log to the Sea Star Diving Center prior to the trip. Failure to show proper certification may result in not being able to dive on the trip. Guests must hold a diver level certification to participate in diving activities.
Tourists will receive a 30-day visa upon arrival.
Liability Release Forms: Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver release form prior to diving. If taking courses, a medical questionnaire is also standard. Guests should inform the Sea Star Diving Center or Dive Instructors of any medical conditions and may be required to produce a doctor's medical clearance for diving upon arrival.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure. Bookings made less than 60 days before departure require full payment. Special offers and packages require full payment at the time of booking. Failure to pay the final balance by the specified date may result in the cancellation of the booking with no return of the deposit. Cancellations must be made in writing or by email to email@example.com and will not be accepted by telephone. Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to departure will result in the return of the deposit, minus bank fees and an admin charge. Cancellations made less than 60 days before departure will result in no refund.
Payment methods accepted:
Cash, secure online payment with credit/debit card, or international bank transfer. Full payment details will be provided with the final booking confirmation. Online payment and credit card charges may apply.
Unused Services: No refund or compensation will be provided for any unused training or trip. Guests who do not complete the training or trip for any reason will not be refunded for a portion of the total cost.
Sea Star Diving and its subsidiaries reserve the right to rearrange the order of any itinerary, to cancel or substitute elements of any plan without notice when local conditions force such changes. Each guesthouse or dive center is operated based on a minimum number of bookings. In the event that the minimum number of bookings is not met, guests may be rebooked or transferred to an associate dive center of the same standard.
Responsibility of Sea Star Diving:
Sea Star Diving acts only as an agent for the companies providing accommodation, transport, dive trips, or day trips (referred to as "Service Providers"). Sea Star Diving issues all booking documentation on the Service Providers' terms and conditions. Sea Star Diving, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, staff, or agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any Service Provider or by "force major" or other events beyond Sea Star Diving's control, including, but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pilferage, delays, severe weather, Acts of God, Acts of Government, accidents, or industrial disputes. Sea Star Diving is held accountable solely to the laws of Maldives
Sea Star Diving (SSD) shall not be liable for or responsible to any tour member in the event of dissatisfaction based on personal opinion regarding the standard of service or accommodation provided by any Service Provider, nor shall it be liable or responsible for any disappointment, distress, or lack of enjoyment arising from any act or omission whatsoever. SSD will only acknowledge liability in the case of proven, justified complaints relating to specific and tangible inadequacies of facilities, accommodation, or services provided. In the event of such a complaint, the customer is requested to immediately contact SSD or the Service Provider, hotel, etc., for remedial action to resolve any problem or irregularity at that time. Only if such a complaint has been lodged will SSD consider fully investigating and acting on any complaint.

SSD endeavors to ensure that all information on the website is accurate, but cannot accept responsibility for inaccuracies or the truth of statements made. Illustrations are intended to set the mood for each tour destination and may not depict actual views as seen on a specific tour.
Fares and Prices:

This information is used to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, including internal record keeping, improving our products and services, and sending promotional emails about new products and special offers.

We will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
